We were honored to host another International Visitor Leadership Program @stateivlp in partnership with @world_orlando at Love Missions Global.
Welcoming like-minded leaders from around the world, this time representing 10 different countries across Africa, is always inspiring. When people united by the same mission come together, powerful things happen. We shared ideas, discussed solutions, encouraged one another, and strengthened the global fight against h@man tr@ffi@king.
During their visit, the group packed Freedom Bags for survivors, practical gifts filled with hope and dignity. Moments like these are empowering for everyone...
Afterward, the group explored @historicdowntownSanford, supporting local shops and restaurants. We love that the work we do not only impacts lives around the world but also pours back into our own community.
Grateful for meaningful partnerships. Grateful for global collaboration. And already looking forward to welcoming the next group. 🌎

🏈It's Super Bowl weekend 🏈
A time people get together have fun and root on their favorite teams.
🫵But did you know other things happen during events like the super bowl? ...
The stadium shook. Touchdown.
Kids ran between trucks, replaying the moment like it was the biggest night of their lives.
Then something didn’t fit.
She was too young. You could see it in the way she moved, the was she laughed—too loud, too rehearsed. She drifted between groups of men, always positioning herself to be noticed.
Then he arrived.
Not drunk. Not loud. Well dressed. In control.
The kind of man you wouldn’t suspect. Something seemed off.
He spoke softly. She laughed again. But for a split second, she looked away—toward another woman nearby. The look was quick, loaded. A silent check-in. A warning. Or permission.
The woman nodded. Stepped back.
On the porch behind them, men watched. Phones out. Waiting. Everyone in place.
That’s when it clicked.
This wasn’t flirting.
This wasn’t a party.
This looked like tr@fficking.
Did you know large sporting events like the super bowl are prime opportunities for exploit@tion—crowds, chaos, anonymity, and demand.
Law enforcement consistently reports spikes in tr@fficking activity during major event weekends. Globally, tr@fficking generates an estimated $150 billion a year, with women and children most often targeted through manipulation and coercion.
This is why Love Missions Global exists.
To train eyes to see what others miss.
To educate communities before harm happens.
To protect the vulnerable before it’s too late.
Learn the signs.
Join the fight.

Because sometimes the loudest danger moves quietly through the crowd.
If you See something, say something.

✈️As we travel through airports, these posters in the bathrooms are impossible for me to ignore, they always draw my attention and make me think, and that’s exactly the point.
These posters provide critical information, discreet access to help, and a lifeline for anyone who may be in danger.
Not long ago, these signs were rare. Now they’re appearing in airports across the country. This one was in Austin, thank you @bluecampaign for bringing awareness into high-traffic, high-risk spaces.
I’m especially thankful for @orlandointernationalairport for installing these resources in our local airport, and for @unitedabolitionist for offering a safe space for victims right inside the airport. Awareness paired with action is what truly creates change.
Some airports have them throughout the airport.
👉Progress happens when information is visible, help is accessible, and people care enough to act.
👉Seeing these posters reminds me that we are moving forward, one sign, one safe space, one life at a time. It's good to look at the positives.
❓How many of you notice the posters in or around airports or in bathrooms?
Just curious if others notice them too.

💙January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and with it comes a whirlwind of powerful moments. This last week was especially full as we joined several meaningful events across our community.
We participated in the 18th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Conference hosted by @wickey_byrd and Tomas J Lares with United Abolitionists alongside UCF, Rosen College, and the Center for Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery.
We then had the honor of attending the Polaris Awards, recognizing those courageously serving on the front lines.
We ended the week close to home with the Red Sand Project at Palate Coffee Roasters Elevate Her Boutique
Hosted by The Central Florida Human trafficking taskforce. Chairs Olivia and Mikala
Standing alongside community leaders, nonprofits, law enforcement, lived-experience survivors, UCF and our community, was both humbling and encouraging. The awareness, support, and unity we witnessed remind us that this work cannot be done alone.
Change happens when we stand together, and this week proved just how strong that collective impact can be.
REMEMBER:
Trafficking doesn’t stop in February.
Exploitation doesn’t take breaks.
Victims don’t get days off.
Thank you to everyone working so hard to fight this evil.
Thank you to all our volunteers.🩵
What can you do?
Join one of these or another organization that supports survivors and is making a difference and together change can happen.
If you want training, to volunteer, or to donate reach out we'd love to help.
